hey, so my laptop has some viruses on it, which can potentially cause my computer to freeze, crash or lag very badly. I hope to have my laptop fixed in the next couple days, so if the super bowl can be pushed to a little later in the week, I would appreciate it. I've been fortunate that none of my other matches have been interrupted by this.

Just wanted to say that I don't have a problem with moving the game to a later date.

bobq : That's fine. Since this is the final game, pushing it off by a week shouldn't be too big of a deal.

bobq : If you guys want a third parties help recording the video and uploading to YouTube I have my own verified YT account and quick internet/pc etc so just give me a little heads up and I can help out. (If you need it)

What's going on you guys?

I think that bobq is still having some virus/computer issues. He is supposed to let me know when he has resolved those issues so we can play our game.

thubtengendun0 : If he's unable to do so soon, I might have to give the win to you. It's been going on for far to long.

sorry about that, I have switched to using a different browser and it has stopped the freezing, although theres a little bit of lag.

I was expecting the disc I need to fix my computer to be ready much sooner, however that has not been the case.

I can try and do the session now, but I cant promise there will not be any lag.

We had the Superbowl at 6:30pm Central today. It was a great game that went down to the wire.

Game Recap:

Thub - Packers
Bobq - Eagles

Bob gets the ball to open the game. He starts the game with a very strong aerial attack to take the quick lead.

Thub matches Bobs opening drive with a great passing attack of his own to tie the game.

On the next drive Vick scampers in for 6 to take a 14-7 lead.

Thub's next possession ends with a fumble from Benson on his own 30. The next play Vick flicks a TD to Jackson 21-7 bob. Huge shift in momentum.

The next possession features a huge gamble by Thub to get back into the game before half time pays off. He goes for it on 4th down on his own 40 and scores on a 60 yard bomb to a wide open Jordy Nelson.

21-14 bob at half

Thub gets the ball to start the second half and really winds down the clock with a rushing attack featuring Benson. Benson scores several plays later on a 5 yard scamper for 6. Takes up the majority of the 3rd quarter.

21-21 tie going into the 4th quarter.

The next possession Vick takes the ball. The Eagles have a hard time getting solid yardage until a huge gamble by Bob on 4th down. McCoy has a solid run for 15 to pick up first down. The next play spelled disaster as Vick throws an interception under pressure and gives the ball back to Thub and plenty of time to take the lead.

Another great drive by Thub featuring more ground and pound with Benson gives him a late 28-21 lead with 1:50 left in the game.

Bob gets the ball. Vick has a huge completion to Jackson that gives him the ball at Thub's 40 with almost a min left. The drive ends with a late Hail Mary in the endzone with time running out. Thub intercepts it in the endzone to end the game.

The 2 INT's spell doom for Vick. 162 through the air 2 INTS. McCoy is the highlight for the Eagles with 130 yards on the ground

Rodgers throws for 283 and Benson has a solid 62 yards and 2 TDs.

should have punted on that 4th down... maybe I would have forced overtime...

bobq : Well the thing is, the gamble payed off going for it on 4th down. Just hurt you that Vick threw the INT on the next play. I mean you had the ball on his side of the field.

Great game! I had a great time. Bobq was a fantastic opponent and the game was fair. Thanks to all involved for the wonderful tournament experience!

That was a great game... what a Super Bowl should be. Very close in the end... a bit of drama... some great plays. Fantastic performance, you guys. Congratulations to you both for making it (and making the game itself so interesting) and congrats to thub for his spectacular comeback and being the Super Bowl champion of the first every Vizzed Tecmo tourney.
