Man some people have gotten real fortunate with regards to who they have had to play up until this point although I guess that's pretty much like how the NFL is each year lol.

Jordanv78 : Round 3 probably had the least amount of participation, I had to mark a lot of games as a TIE or as a win because of the other player not communicating.

Yeah our game in my opinion is the big game of this round because whichever of us wins basically goes to the playoffs. If I lose, I have a really bad shot of getting into the playoffs because I have a ton of people right on my tail lol. If you lose, you have no chance but if you win, you have a decent chance.

This entire tournament was more of an experiment, I expect the next one to be a lot better since I'll have an entry fee, rounds will last longer, more teams will advance to the playoffs and there will be more games. I might even do a tournament on tecmo super bowl again but we'll see.

No chance of making the playoffs...great. I think that there should be a longer time limit for playing games in the next Tecmo tournament. My first opponent wasn't on until it was too late, my second opponent played but it was a disaster game for me, and my last opponent and I couldn't find a time to play and when we finally did it was going to happen about now but the deadline passed. It's just my suggestion. Also, with this many teams we could've divided it into two conferences and made a NFL format playoffs. Just another suggestion for future Tecmo Bowl tournaments.

megamanmaniac : The problem is, 52 is just not a number that can be divided many times. I think the next time I'll keep the entry open until we reach 32 or 64 players since those 2 numbers can be broken down many times.

Also, I think next time I'll do 1 week per a game. The reason I didn't this time was because I wanted the Super Bowl game to take place around the time the actual super bowl takes place. The other reason was because since this is an "experiment" tournament, I didn't want it to last forever.

The Official Tournaments will begin probably April 1st and will take place every 3 months because they'll probably last 3 months and they'd last that long because the rounds will be 1 week instead of 3 days and I'm thinking 12 games would be good (8 regular games and 3 playoff games and 1 championship game).

Well, looks like I have no shot, due to the fact that both Li and myself have opponents that have missed matches recently. I wish I could get a shot to go head to head for that last playoff spot, but I understand that its a trial. I do think that there should be another Tecmo Bowl Tournament with Viz buy-ins. Man people that don't play take the fun out of the whole schedule thing. Oh well, there's always next time.

I'm done with my round 4 match up which was by far the best game i won 21-14 nice defensive game. So basically i went undefeated in the tournament hopefully that's enough to make the playoffs lol.

DrDrew20 : Yeah, it seems David did a lot of random select for his match-ups. If it was me, I would have had match-ups be within the same division so there's more a chance of you carving your own destiny rather than everyone playing opponents in random divisions and hoping for the best.
