I've noticed... some good threads are being closed and there's a lot of pointless threads lately. This happens every time Tour de Vizzed is going on. We only have around 10 mods right now and there is spam out of control. I think that more local mods need to be hired, temporary or not to stop the constant spam. This is something anyone paying attention has probably realized, and I think we need to come to some sort of solution.

Any suggestions?

Actually, just about 7 mods alone, and 2 forum Globals. The most I can see for good threads are the ones in Innocent Town, and for bad threads, limitless. I also agree about more moderators, though on a more selfish level to be honest.

If we want to REALLY stop it, we'd probably need more restrictions and have the current mods crack down harder on the spam and stuff, Nya~.

I have noticed lately that when a mod is summoned to a thread it sometimes take awhile for them to see the request and close a thread before it gets spam'd up.

The spam and pointless threads in general seem to have been gaining steam over the past several months. I think this has some to do with some of the more mature active members not being as active as they had in past years. Just my opinion anyways.

I'd volunteer to be a mod, but I doubt that you'll want a newbie as a mod.  Though I do have experience modding this type of forum.  My suggestion is lower the mod post requirement during this time so that they can focus on modding their respected forums.  It's just my opinion in the matter. 

If a mod has to worry about meeting requirements during the busiest time, he/she probable wouldn't be able to focus much on modding forums, especially those that they think are not worth the time.

Freya : I'm not sure how LOWERING the requirements to mod will help the situation. Although I understand where you are coming from, the point is that they have to be ACTIVE to do their job.

Meeting the requirements can be a pain, but honestly if you have an active forum it shouldn't be that hard.

yeah, i guess a lot of spammy posts too, cause people just want to win the tour de vizzed. so i kind of agree, but it okay, the mods will stop it sooner or later, cause each forum has it mod, or you can help out by  summoning the mods of a forum to shut down a spammy posts, but they still will get to it.

speedy gonzales : you are kinda right. He has been annoying but i think he can do it but if he gets caught its his fault. We shouldn't start rating out people who are in the tour. The mods have stuff they need to do to instead of giving warnings to a handful of members.

i use to be a globel mod and i want to help sourppert the mods since so many mods left that is sad so what do u say i have been banning people when i wasa modislike newbie mods so tell me plus innocent towns big kids table was closed yesterday and i was there for the closing of little kids table to so i dont know what to do on the site mods need to come back or i will leave this site forever and + nobody listens to the mods at all and get permma banned from vizzed so sad
