I'd actually love to compete for the red jersey if it wasn't red... I don't care for the color, so I purposely avoid wearing it. Best compromise between something that I'd like trying for and a color I don't mind is probably yellow.

I think that it is a badge of honor no matter what. That being said a lot of them can probably be pretty easily obtained by spamming up the boards (See this months TDV for example) Yellow is the one that I personally covet most. Mainly because "Most words" means that you are taking the time to make thoughtful posts. IMHO anyways

I'm the same as Jordan.. The colour of the jersey holds no interest for me at all. 

Each of the Jersey's has it's flaws for me... 

Red... Is mainly the target for people who like to plagiarise other peoples stories as their own... 
Blue..  is mainly the target of the common spammer who just makes short posts made of gibberish..
Yellow is basically a combination of the two above... 
Green is mainly the target of users copying and pasting their +30 generic post!

Personally I feel as the yellow jersey would be the one I'd be proud to achieve...  Especially considering my average on posts is just under 2 a day...  It also shows that the posts you did make had actual thought put into them as well... 

Also as a moderator I find the TDV very tedious indeed...
