well it would be to obvious if i voted for the newest so i vote for the original gold/silver because it brings me feelings of nostalgia and was my first pokemon game

well your not really missing much, red version has less Pokemon in it than blue but has pokemon that only appear in red and some in blue. but hey, anything up to gold and silver was good.

I would say that the best game would be pokemon soulsilver or heartgold because you can train your pokemon or get a good workout with the pokewalker plus it has many pokemon that you can't get anywhere else it has more legendaries and the leauge is super easy so most people could beat it ,it has an excellent storyline with new places and npc,and it introduces flat battles,pokemon plaza, and pokewalker battles, and as a final reason, the pokemon are reasonably leveled and the fact that you can face legendaries if you accedentally defeated them just by facing the leage,which,as I mentioned above, is incredibly easy to beat.

Hmmm best pokemon game ever! well in my opinion it would be yellow version just cuz its the first game boy game i ever got and i beat it about 9 million and a half times. but crystal is also one of my favs cuz its got as uve metioned before the 2 worlds

also the worst pokemon game if there is a bad oe would have to be green version, and thats just cuz i cant read it lol i

I have a pokemon crystal game that I really enjoyed, but I'd have to say that the GBA games were a big improvement over the GBC games. The GBC games only allowed you to have 10 people on your call list, and only 8 you could choose.

My favourite is Emerald. I love every thing about exept how underrated it is and all the sea routes. The plot's good. The Starters are cool and good. The Legendaries are creative. The level curve is good. The music is good. and Diving was a cool feature as well.

I say leafgreen since it was my fist pokemon game and it has the strongest elite four I've ever faced (V2.0 of the elite four/champion is hard as hell to kill unless you actually train your pokemon which I hate because I prefer to wing it).
