So, I made this same thread a few minutes ago, but apparently it didn't show up for some reason? Ah, such is life. This time I'll be sure to copy all this before I post it. (Also, not sure if this belongs in the "about me" section or not, aha, I guess I'll find out)

First off, with a relic of a laptop like mine, this site is a relief. No sketchy ROM downloading or any of that business and all the retro games that I can possibly have time for.
So a big thank you to everyone who keeps this site running.
This, along with Transformice and Vindictus, have been the three sites most visited by me (or games most played by me), with Vizzed slowly beginning to take up the most time. Vindictus is almost dropping to a non-existent third thanks to my laptop, aha. Beautiful game, but the specs are a bit too high for this old thing, even on lowest.
Now, if for some reason any of you have the inkling to talk to me, go ahead and start up a conversation with me, I'm not shy. While you're at it, recommend me some good games. I have a lot owned, but I'm sure there's a lot more I've missed out on.
 And with that, I'v knocked out my first post and thread c:

Welcome, not sure what Transformice or Vindictus are, but if they don't have the original Pokémon games I don't want to know! Okay that was probably corny as well. Anyways, depending what systems you own, I may have some games to recommend, given you can't find them here that is. Ultimately, I think the Retro-Game room is your best bet for most of the games I'll suggest, I'm a sucker for the oldies. Regardless, welcome aboard and if you ever want to talk games and give each other suggestions, feel free to PM me!

No, aha, I meant I already "own" many games in the retro game room, not in real life. Sometimes just searching through the catalog doesn't find me much, though, since I've already tracked down pretty much most of my favorite old school stuff.
Also, how do I get a profile picture? I was told before that I have to be a member and to become that I have to make 10 posts. I've done that plus got 100% on the newbie quiz, is there anything I'm missing?
(just by the way, Vindictus is a physics based dungeon explorer while in Transformice you run around as mice trying to collect cheese, lol)

epicamazing : In order to get a profile pic, go to the "Edit Profile & Settings" tab at the top left of your page. Then scroll down a little bit and select the choose profile pic option. You might have to be a member, if so then you'll have to become one. In order to become a member, you must pass the newbie quiz, post 10 times, and be a newbie for a week.
