I grew up playing red care for version and I honestly didn't yellow. 

whats your guys/lady's opinions on Pokémon yellow. Pros? Cons? Did you enjoy it compared to silver or gold?

i love pokemon silver and gold because they have some events that are in the anime series and so does yellow but yellow is bad graphics. you do get to catch all 3 starters in yellew but i still think its bad. and i know some sort of cheats in silver and gold so you should play them

I just preferred red version only cause I started playing that when it was out.  I played all up to emerald which I loved until it got stolen.  your right about the graphics they were terrible. Yeah ell give them a go sometime! i hated started off trying to fight Brock with pickachu since it was so hard. haha but i was a kid last time i played that one.

I've beaten Yellow when I was a kid, but my memories are somewhat hazy. From what I can remember, it's rough at the start because of the Pikachu starter and you encounter Jessie & James at some points too.

They also matched some encounters of specific locations to match the anime. It's a nice touch, in my opinion. Pretty sure that I was satisfied when I completed Yellow at that time.

it's not really all that different, the only real differences are that the character and pokemon portraits match the anime and pikachu follows you around. That being said I love yellow. I found it to be more difficult than blue and red because the first gym is the rock gym, which is pikachu's weakness, so there's a lot of grinding with a newly caught wild pokemon in the beginning. 
And as for Silver, that's my favorite pokemon game of all time because it just gets everything right. It builds off of the first red/blue/yellow, and it has the best generation of pokemon in my opinion.

It glitches whenever I accidentally touch it in my SP, so the graphics will screw up.  In more ways than one.
