I know someone suggested the 4th, but the 5th would allow those of us at work to have a full day to go see a loved one, or seriously spend the day in prayer, contemplation, or service.

I think I'm going to go visit my mother and brother and take them out.  I never see them, and it'd be a pleasant surprise to let them know how much I love them and care for them.  I'll also likely spend some time reflecting on people that have been lost who I know and don't, and I'll spend some time dedicated to prayer.

It seems to me like it would be a better idea to post that day, instead of not posting. Even those who did not post for the event, would most likely be here, anyway. but i know how you feel this was not very sudden but..... we all thought my grandmother was getting better (she had a stroke....) she started to even say small words again! (before this we could not understand her) 2 days later i go back home all happy i had given some stickers to a friend so she was happy too, i walk in all cheerful and my dad sit me down on the couch i start spearding good news of my dad when my dad stops me...... he said to me jamie (my dad and mom and brothers and sisters call me that) your grandmother died well you where at school im.... im sorry......  i sat on the couch i could not hold it back.i loved my grandmother so much always cheerful in the grimist of moods.but now i just couldn't be cheerful i started to just cry for hours just sitting there crying.i hated the feeling........
