I prefer the wii IMO, I don't find the wii U Exciting It's just like a Enhanced/Upgraded Wii, Besides, It's expensive! $350..So I don't have a wii U.

I don't think it's that expensive considering that the gamepad is worth 150 bucks so the console is around the same price. If you get an external hard drive and the white one you'll be all set that is what i am going to do. The launch games look like one of the best i've ever seen. 
Best third party support in a while by nintendo since Resident Evil 4 for the Gamecube. They have Arkham City AC3 ScribbleNauts unlimited just to name a few plus Mass Effect 3 and  hopefully a Resident Evil 6 port .

To be honest, I think the Wii U (skip this, if you want only solid information about the system, I'm just voicing my opinions) was just to say, "hey guys we did it" And the system is really lacking. I don't have it myself, but being the sad little man that I am have done a lot of research, and a lot of fans are displeased with the console, its tablet controller not being of much use, or of the fact that if you stop the original download the system will never work. Yeah, Nintendo, make something new, the only thing you've made in a while is just expansions of ideas that were fantastic when the came out. 2006: "whoa dude, you just got your Ds? "yeah man, those new things are dope!" (I'm not hip but I'm assuming that's how people besides me talk) 2012: "Wow man, the DS 2,000 just came out" "yeah man, I cant wait to see how it expanded from the last 1999" 2006: "Whoa dude have you seen the wii? Its awesome. 2007: cool, its black now 2008: yay... nothing. 2009: Yay, now the motion controls are somehow improved by making the wii mote bigger. 2012: "yay, another remake of a gamecube or N64 game"

Nintendo, seriously I love you guys. But... at the same time your making me want to hug my N64 and retreat back to the good days.

ender44 : I totally agree with you. It seems like Nintendo is running out of ideas. I really can't say though, as I haven't owned a Nintendo system since the N64 and gbc. I was extremely disappointed at the announcement of a wii u as I didn't like the wii in the least. I suppose it's all opinion, so I don't mean to rain on their fans parade. Not everyone loves the playstation consoles like I do. I actually came to this thread to ask you guys to please enlighten me to the wii u. It seems like a terrible idea to have a screen in the tablet and tv, and I just don't get the idea of the console at all. Please explain it to me, as I really am curious about the idea behind it. I'm sure there is more to the setup than I am seeing here.

No, one I don't have enough money, two even if I did I'd still wait for the inevitable price drop.
