I don't think there is much else to it. I do the same thing and I don't have any trusted points. Just keep being nice to people, it wont hurt anyone.

Auniquename : Really, the whole system is flawed. If you are a friend with a trusted member, that is, unfortunately a way to become trusted. Don't worry about the trusted points system. Just because you are, for example, -4, doesn't mean that a majority of people think that you are not good for the board or anything. And like ender said, just keep doing what you are doing.

How do you get trust points?
Post around a lot.  You've only made 2 posts on the forum.  That's not enough to make you well known, and in fact you can't even be considered a normal member yet.  You need to make ten posts and be on the forum for  7 days.

After that, post often WITHOUT SPAMMING.  Be polite, don't break forum rules, and be kind.  Contribute meaningfully to conversations.

Unfortunately, it IS a popularity contest, really, but that doesn't mean much.  Just have patience, and if you take my advice, you could get trusted points.

(By the way, questions like this are answered in the help section if you want to check there first next time.  Always feel free to pm me if you are curious about something else.)
