Okay, so I'm working on a fancy new layout (well it's not really THAT fancy) to accompany a walkthrough I plan I want to start posting here. I fiddled around in the layout editor for about 10 or 15 minutes to get it to look just the way I wanted with positioning when it previews. I then went to actually post my walkthrough and previewed in-post and the text box's position was way off. To show you what I mean, I screen capped the layout editor preview of it and my profile's preview of it (the positioning on the post preview was the same as the profile preview so it'll suffice as an example).

Is there any reason it would render the CSS differently in the two spots? It makes it really difficult to position this layout properly if the editor preview doesn't actually show it the way it's going to post.

Well, I ran into many issues of my own of the editor not being quite accurate, but nothing THAT far off.  However, when I asked around, I was told that it's a known error (the inaccuracies, that is).  It simply would take Jigsaw an extreme amount of time to fix it, and this is why it hasn't been done.

(Again, I'm just relaying information I was given, as I understand it.  So I could be wrong.)

I noticed that too. Since the editor is shorter than the actual layout will be. I don't think that you change that. From what I've tried,  you kind of have to work with it. Maybe there is a way, but not from what I know.

Hmm... that sucks. I'm not sure if I can make this layout work in that case. I guess my walkthrough is delayed for now until I figure out what I'm doing.

I thought for sure my code was right too...
