Then whatever Pokémon shows up to battle match type advantages with it (you get the advantage) so you win the weak one will get more experience than the strong one. However the strong one will over time get stronger.

I normally don't train in regular games, but in hacks sometimes. I just fight every trainer I can find and use rare candies or other stat boosters if I have any. One time I was fighting the elite 4 and my Pokémon were about level 50 and the elite 4's were in the high 60's. Surprisingly I won!

You select the item and select "give" and select the Pokemon you want to give the item to. Oh, and I think in Gen 1 you get the EXP. All which if someone holds it, all your Pokemon gains EXP.

I'm with a lot of the other users. I grind until I can grind no more, training in the areas with the highest level pokemon available. I train them fairly evenly, though I usually have my starter a few levels ahead of everyone else to let them know who's boss.

I train them evenly throughout the game to reach their pull potential. You can defeat the Tangela south of Pallet Town if they're that low, they give decent exp. and aren't very hard to defeat.

Well I usually just battle wild Pokémon in the victory road, It's very hard for me to level up because of all the experience they need to level up. If your talking about fire red and leaf green (In this case your not) I   just use the VS Seeker to re- battle the trainers again.
