There wasn't a lot of participants, only 5, but most of the users who did participate submitted a lot of screenshots and that really helps out the RGR, so thanks to everyone who did participate. Also thanks to rcarter2 for tallying up the votes.

I wish I had known this was going on, but somehow it was an announcement I missed. I would have LOVED this one!  It would have been easy AND useful!  Sorry for not being able to help out with this one.  Maybe if you have it again, I'll notice it next time.  LOL

I'll look out for it.  I mean, I add screenshots, but it's not a focus for me.

I think the reason I didn't notice this is because I assumed it was like the other screenshot competitions, which I'm no good at.  So I probably saw the 'screenshot competition' in the title and discarded any notion of participating.  LOL

I'll add screenshots whenever I write a review, like always, but if I participate next time, I'll of course make a larger effort and set time aside to JUST take screenshots.

Singelli : Every month David announces 3 new RGR contests (though I think there's actually 4 this month) so be sure to check the Contests section each month to see if there's anything you can compete in.

I'm glad I at least top 3'd one this month. If this was held in like any other month but November or December, I'm sure I coulda done much better, though. I'm pretty sure I've added a over 100 screenshots in a month before all for games that were missing them. Oh well, maybe next time around.

I was pretty much just seeing if I could do about ten a day as a little time waster. Only the last few days I started really hard to get a lot of screen shots in, mainly because the announced 100+ games added gave me a list to choose through.

Awesome part of this competition was it gave me some new games to play as I gathered screen shots! Found a few gems I probably would have dismissed otherwise.

Aw, I was pretty close to winning. It did get pretty enjoyable when I went for screenshots in the Mario hacks. Those are always interesting to play. It was also nice to take a break from taking screenshots for Gameboy games for most of the month.
