Since many of you are gamers, whether it be RPG fans or fighting game fanatics, there's always a time where you achieve something you thought was impossible at your skill level. What game did you do it in, and what was the achievement?


I got to level 99 in Evolution 2: Far Off Promise (freaking EXP curve is ridiculous)

I also beat almost all the challenge songs in DDR: Extreme 2 (made me hell of a lot more confident in playing it)

My friend Ben (BennyMD) did something that was SO AWESOME:
Columns, a game for Genesis:
Score: 18,000,000+ points
Level: 199 (max level of difficulty)
Jewels: 9999 (max amount of jewels)

He basically coasted on the max level and jewels for an hour and a half, and reached 18,000,000 points.

Well here's my nerd moment 100% pokemon in red, yellow, gold, crystal, and ruby versions along with all the items and all of them level 99 without cheating via game shark or any duplication means if I had the game boy printer I would have printed out the certificates (remember those? xD)

My most recent moment was a few months ago. I was playing Halo 3 online and it was 5 against 5 but within the first few seconds, everyone on my team left so I was left as 1 man against 5. This is where it became like Rambo 1. I was doing a lot of stealth, the 5 players would be looking for me and I'd sneak up behind one and kill him and the 2 people at his side would turn around and start shooting at me but I'd strife back and forth fast enough to dodge their bullets and I'd take them both out by perfect head shots. The whole game was awesome, I think my total score was doubled their entire score, and there was this one scene where 4 of them surrounded me and I some how was able to take all of them out (but died in the process). I also got on a turrent and that was just like Rambo 4, they'd be running up the hill at me and I'd just be shooting at them, was pretty sweet. Anyway, I have it all recorded (since Halo 3 lets you save your replays), will have to submit it to youtube sometime.

I'd definitely like to see your halo video.

If you still have the game carts, Shirayu, buy a GB printer on ebay when you get the chance, scan up the certificates onto your computer and post 'em here when you can

My cousin was featured in a really old issue of Nintendo Power for beating Pokemon Red in less than 12 hours, gotta find that issue somewhere...

I was fighting a CPU in Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm with Difficulty: Insane(highest) and Handicap all the way against me. I was able to take him out (when he had all 3 bars of health) and I had only 2 hits 'til I was dead.
It's a Narutards achievement

Wow o-o; that's pretty crazy. I never play those games, but is Storm fun?

Oh yeah! The story is VERY basic, but it's very fun!

I hope the handicap makes loads of difference, because I bested an insane computer after playing for maybe 2 hours, first time I ever played the game.

Yeah, handicap makes a ton of difference. Makes you much weaker and makes the CPU do MUCH more damage.

I was at a LAN party with over a dozen other people and we were all playing cstrike 1.6, 8 on 8 in a map called iceworld. It was the final round and It was down to me and this other guy, he had an ak47 and body armour and I had a usp pistol with 1 bullet left and 10 health. He was circling the 4 ice buildings but didnt know i was following him, I was behind him for about half a minute trying to get a clear shot. I can remember just clicking the mouse and hoping for the best and I ended up killing him with a headshot and winning the prize pool of a packet of potato chips.

Happy days.

Quite a bit, but I'll go with a somewhat recentish online experience. Gears of War 2, I was picking up nades when 3 enemy team members spawn nearby. They chase me around a corner. Once around the corner, I turn right around, chainsaw revving. Surprise! Get one guy. One of the other guys come to chainsaw me. I am quicker than that, and manage to initiate a duel. I win. Last guy shotguns at me. I roll, fake, jump over a barrier, move all over then finally manage to chainsaw him.

3 on 1. 3 Dudes, 3 Chainsaw Kills. XD

You forgot to mention that I quit because I got bored.
I think I tried to quit 20 times before being successful.

"OKAY, I'M DONE!" *Last block falls into place...

In Halo 3 I never thought you could fly so fast to be eaten by a rock. I was. I was in forge on Sandtrap, dropped a tank on me, and went flying into where the Scarab remains are. I hit a rock/wall, and was inside of it.

One time at my friends house me and sevreal of my friends were playing Halo 3 it was my first time so I didn't know what to expect until they all teamed up on me so with it 3 on 1 i see a veichal with a turret on it I decided to mount the turret and hope for the best when they came around I totally annihilated them with the turret and got of the veichal before it blew up, needless to say my friends were astonished. Also to note in Perfect Dark (N64 version and yes I still have the cartage along with a perfectly working N64) I have dominated two perfect agent missions, which is quite an accomplishment ,because when Rare announced the game they said estimated only around 10% of the people who play this game will totally beat Perfect Agent difficulty, so yeah taking down two Perfect Agent missions is quite and accomplishment in my opinion and anyone who has played the game will probably agree with me.
