acam : It might not be possible with some MAME games.

GameBoy1023 : No idea why that would happen, I haven't had that issue.

acam : F2 is save and F4 is load, I believe. Unfortunately, this won't work well for NeoGeo games because F2 is forced to Service Mode, which means you'll end up saving on the Service Mode screen rather than in the game. There are also a lot of games that use F2 as Service Mode optionally. Always check your controls and see if Service Mode is set to anything. If it's in the list of controls you can change, change it to something not used elsewhere so that you can properly save/load.

Also loading is glitchy in MAME. Sometimes your save state will not load properly. I find that unless the screen you're on right now is the same kind of screen that you are trying to load, it usually won't work. For example, if you were playing a Mahjong game and save stated before discarding a tile. If you try to load your state on a different screen entirely than a gameplay one (like the game over screen or something), it wouldn't load properly. However you were to even begin a new game and go back to the gameplay screen and load, it'll actually work.

I know that all the games are not finished yet, but Sonic Championship has major problems, at the character select the game will freeze, the game is 10X as slow as it should be, and the shadows make half the screen black. :/

GameBoy1023 : Probably not. Maybe try restarting your computer and when you go to play a MAME game, make sure you don't have any other programs open on your computer.

GameBoy1023 : YOu can keep that open but you should only have 2 windows open at most, just as a test.

These arcade games are really starting to irritate me. I am playing with a Ps3 controller and when I tried to use padder x, everything went crazy! The game even speed up at the most important parts!

What are the regular controls? I really need reset them as I have just figured out that you don't need padder x. Help me please. You should also put a reset button on the menu so you could go back to the original control layout you had set up for it.
