This TV is the most advanced TV ever invented

It is the first TV to have 4k resolution - to compare that to HD, "ordinary" HD is now 1080 resolution
Not only that, this TV has a massive 84 inch screen, thus also being the largest TV ever created
(there are other 84 inch TVs but none bigger - yet)

It also has a 4k picture processing engine, face area detection, video area detection, motion enhancer and super resolution for game mode
This TV also has 3D super resolution, wireless LAN, is Skype ready, has a built in web browser (Opera) and comes with 3D glasses
And also has 50 watt surround sound audio, has 4 HDMI inputs and 2 USB inputs

This is a description from the manufacturer's website:
"
See a new reality
Remember the first time you saw High Definition? Prepare to be amazed again when you experience 4K resolution TV.
You'll see everything on a 214cm / 84 inch screen that displays over 8 million pixels in four times more detail than Full HD TV.
Real life detail from only 1.6m
Re-create the immersive cinema experience in your home with a huge 214cm / 84 inch 4K resolution widescreen TV, displaying over 8 million individual pixels.
Even as close as 1.6m, it’s like watching pictures with detail and resolution true to real life.
Make any picture look real
Whatever you’re watching, from a Blu-ray™ movie to Internet videos, you’ll see crisp picture quality with X-Reality PRO.
This advanced processing engine intelligently optimises and enhances images from any source for fine detail and vivid colour in every picture.
Sound to surround you
From a subtle whisper to a booming explosion, you won’t just hear every sound – you’ll feel it.
Totalling 50W, 10 individual speakers including tweeters, dedicated mid-range units and four subwoofers fill the room with virtual 5.1 surround sound.
Pictures that reach out and grab you
With clear and detailed 3D images, it’s like having a 3D movie theatre in your own living room.
Let all your friends and family enjoy the show with lightweight, comfortable and easy-to-wear passive 3D glasses.

While this is an absolutely fantastic TV, the price means it is out of the range of most of us normal, ordinary human beings, only the very rich can afford it at the moment
The rest of us can only hope that the price comes down sooner rather than later

That is the coolest thing ever! $40,000 I think is too much even though it has all of those features.

Well if you do by any chance by it be ready for any unexpected seizures! But still, $40,000? That's quite a bit if I can say so myself! Hope your wallet/bank account knows how to take bad news like a man...

Do you really want to spend that much money if you did have it?

I mean, I could understand if you won the lottery or something, but you're not happy with just a regular HD TV?

Also, isn't it a bit large? I'd find moving it incredibly difficult.

There's ups and downs to everything.

Id want insurance on that bad boy, like, 6 years insurance.
Most I would ever pay for a tv, about £1400 I imagine ($2,200).

It would have to be something special, like this.
But that dosent go far nowadays

Galacta :

Winning the lottery would probably be the only way to afford it at the moment until it eventually and inevitably comes down in price

In the meantime I am happy with my ordinary HD TV

I would only move it once, when I first get it and set it up and I would enlist help to carry it

thenumberone :

I'm sure it would be covered by your home insurance

Let's see how much it will cost this time next year (and see what the next ultimate TV will be by then)
