I'm wondering about the different tastes in guitars of the people of Vizzed.
You don't have to play guitar (although it helps you know what's what), just comment on what you like or what looks cool.
It can be about any part of a guitar (pickups, bridges, etc.)

I personally like Ibanez guitars, especially with a Floyd Rose or Edge III bridge. Preferably with some crazy color or design (I love Daron Malakian's Iceman design!).

I find I like the line 6 Variax guitar.   I like that it has built-in effects.  The latest model has 29 different programmable guitar sounds that you can put into the one guitar and has an alternate tuning knob (so you can switch to drop d tuning without actually re-tuning your guitar).  I know you can just get any old electric guitar and hook it up to a POD to get basically the same thing, but I like the idea of having less gear to carry around.

I like the Variax bass guitar more as I am more of a bass player than an electric, but they no longer make it.
I have not tried playing it, but I also like the idea of an acoustic bass guitar (fender makes them).
quite a few famous bands use line 6 gear (including U2).

sorry if it sounds like a cheap attempt at advertising line 6, I actually do not own any of their gear... but I have heard it and played with it (speakers, amps, guitars and pods) and I have been impressed with the majority of their work.

Id like a 1957 Gibson Les Paul Gold, that thing is beautiful.

One day, i will buy it.

Until then i have a decent guitar, Westfield: E4000 les paul.

And the all beautifull Freshman FA1AWR Electro Acoustic Guitar

Both are pretty good scottish guitar companys, you get value for money, not that those 2 were cheap.
