lets talk about some college football. i cant wait to see Notre dame get smacked by the 10-1 crimson tide Alabama football team. i have to say that because i am a Michigan fan.

Beastmode64 : That's been decided that 'Bama will be in it? I thought that there are supposed to be a four team playoff? Anyway, I also want Notre Dame to lose. I didn't have the feeling that their play reflected their record.
Alabama should win, unless ND can come up with an amazing performance.

patar4097 : That's next year I believe. We all know that ND is in the Championship. Question is who do they play Alabama or Georgia.

I can't really decide since I don't like Alabama, but I've never seen Georgia play. I just hope that the SEC Championship is a good game and so is the National Title Game.

First, Alabama has to get by Georgia.  Georgia can win the game, so don't simply assume.  It's in Atlanta and Georgia has defense, a great qb, a running game, and a good coach.  I won't name drop but they are in the game against Bama.

Also, if Bama loses and UCLA manages to beat Stanford, who's to say Oregon doesn't get in for the National Championship? 

Anyway, Notre Dame has great defense and an offense that can sputter enough to win games.  Brian Kelly is an excellent coach and he built outstanding programs at CMU and Cincy.  Who's to say he can't win a national championship.

The sad thing is Ohio State not punishing themselves last year so they have to sit this one out.  Notre Dame/Ohio State national championship?  The Buckeyes would have been rolled.

warmaker : I don't think Oregon has a good shot. The only way that they will get in is if both Bama and Georgia underpreform to the level that Oregon will be the better choice. I can't see that happening thou. UCLA vs Stanford is going to be the #2 game to watch before the bowl games.

Also, I'm rooting for Kent St to beat up on Northern Illinois.  A non AQ school gets a BCS bid if they finish higher than #16 during the regular season.  That'd be intriguing to see Kent State take on a weak ACC or Big East team.
