Totts : This isn’t really an easy question to answer. I guess it all comes down to the individual woman and not a generalization. I for one have never really understood how some women choose to be with people who either take them for granted or take them for granted and are abusive. I never understood the appeal or reasoning of staying in a relationship when you know it’s not good.

I have made that mistake before in my last real relationship but I can honestly say looking back many years later that I didn’t really know what I was doing at the time and in hindsight I really wish I would have just cut my losses once the first red flag went up. It probably would have saved me so much grief and headaches.

I know that may sound a bit cold to some but that’s how I feel about it. I have been single for years. Hopefully if and when I decide to give it another shot in the romance department that I will have better luck next time around and maybe even be able to answer that question better. At least I hope so.

What do I think women want....  Essentially anything that makes life easier...  In terms of wanting to find a husband(if you are inclined that way)

I guess it would just be someone that really appreciates them and makes them feel special... As long as they don't become some sort of uber stalker... Or perhaps so clingy that you have to walk to work with them holding onto your leg whilst repeating the phrase "PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME".. 

Am I right?

Anyway, from what I tend to notice, girls tend to want attention, but specifically from people they already believe they want attention from. (Cue the SNL "How to not be a creepy stalker" videos here)

Resuri : I have done this and I can vouch for its effectiveness.

I would want a guy who actually understands me. Someone who I can call at any time if I am feeling depressed or just generally upset. I like guys who listen to me, and try to make me feel better with humor, such as funny stories or quotes. I would also like if a guy wrote me a poem of some sort, or just hung out with me, eat pizza and play video games together.

I can only speak for myself.
I think the most important thing is kindness. Someone who likes to have fun, but is also mature, devoted and honest.

I realize that is sort of a simplistic view of a relationship but it's still true. Women really aren't that complicated if you take a little bit of time to give them the attention they want.

geeogree :  I'm not one of the attention- cravers, but I find this strangely cute.  I know women get a lot of slack for being complicated, but I know -I'm- not complicated at least.  Heck, by me toilet paper for Christmas and state that you just wanted to save me the trouble and I'll be overjoyed!

Singelli : the thing I've found about a lot of women that I've known is that the attention cravers only crave attention because they didn't get the attention they wanted so as a result they act out in ways that get attention. My wife doesn't do this because I give her the attention she wants. After that I get to do whatever I want with my time.

Every woman I have ever been with have wanted care. As not in being taken care of like a sick relative, but as in being aware that you care OF her. That you care what she thinks, says and wants to do and she is the right one for you. Or in some weird cases, the illusion of that. Don't ask. But sure, we all want to be appreciated.

Well been single for all my life I wouldn't call my self an expert but based on college I would say the following

Trusting but not easily minipulated

Loyal to only one person

Funny without effort

Smart so we can be depended on when you need our help

Cute but not too cute

Social but not overly focused on their social life

Someone who will call them every night just to talk

Have I got this right?

As for me.. women want to have a guy who is loving, knows how to communicate with her, spend time together, and gets treated equally.
