Digimon is just the better show better story, better characters,

yea i would have to go with digimon. because the show always seemd a bit more better then pokemon, plus i did always like the fact that there were way more stages with ur digimon then pokemon.

i have to agree with some of the other posts. Pokemon by far has greater games. I have been hooked on them since they first came out. I even had pokemon birthday parties. Digimon had a better cartoon though. Even though i woke up at 6 in the morning to watch pokemon on saturdays when i was 10, i would get up at 6 in the morning on school days when i was 13 to watch digimon. i dont really like to say that one is better than the other. They each have their flaws but they each have there good qualities as well.

I haven't really seen anything about Digimon that would cause me to like it more than Pokemon... seriously, pokemon are more original, at least with the names, their games are way more fun, and they are actually alive in the games/anime. Digimon are computer programs. How dull .

Actually it can be quite like that. In a digital environment a simple AI could go from something simple to something more complex in a matter of minutes. Whether it does this by being upgraded, learning from a superior program, or some other third thing (its almost 2 in the morning ) it can make huge leaps.

Almost all digimon are stronger than most pokémon with the exception of Arceus & some legendaries if those legends are believable.


Pokémon are cuter hands down.


From the series' standpoint: Digimon are technically immortal. Even though fighting Devimon did do some heavy damage to Angemon, Angemon did come back & I believe it was the same one because of the way he acted. Their data could be saved & they could be brought back again & again. On the other hand, pokémon can die. Some pokédex entries & the pokémon graves in the 1st & 3rd gens are proof of that.

From our standpoint: Pokémon will probably outlast digimon but I don't think it will live forever. Fads can die off. Pokémon is a pretty strong fad but it isn't immortal.


As for me, I don't really have a preference for either. I just enjoy them both.

So you're saying that if Darwin had computers and AI in his day, he actually could have found something where his theory fit ? But that's different. That is still treating it like a computer program. Not calling it a missing link and equating it to some non-existent missing link between apes and humans . You can add virtual data. You can't add genetic data. Wait, did I just start a creation vs. evolution debate in the Pokemon forum? Over which was better, Pokemon or Digimon? I need to get out and witness more...
