To be honest, I had a top 3 for most favorite gamecube games, and I should share it.

3rd place was "Kirby Air Ride". It was a nice attempt at a racing game with Kirby characters and machines which makes me think of Super Mario Kart. Unfortuantly, I did find that Kirby Air Ride was a commercial failfure but was still fun regardless from the commercial.

2nd place was "The Legend Of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures". I found it amazing to be 4 links according to the title. It was even better that you could collect force gems to power up your sword, but that only happens after collecting 2,000 force gems. Still, it was fun, but whn I got to World 2, section 1, I got stuck at the big woman who wouldn't let me through. That was the time when I had to look up a walkthrough before I raged quit. But then I did get stuck in World 3, section 1. You have to get around all security lights, and if any link touches the light that flies around the screen, you get sent in the jail and you have to start all over at the start.

Then my top favorite game all time for the gamecube was... Pokemon Channel! Just kidding. "Sonic Mega Collection" was my all time favorite gamecube game, mainly because you got to play 12 sonic related games from the sega genesis in 1 disc. It was amazing to play sonic for the first time ever with the mega collection game. I had memories of this game, like when I couldn't beat the first level on Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, but that was embarassing. Then I have the memory that I have had the disc for 6 years straight and it is still working perfect, and it was the same disc I used for 6 years in a row. Nevertheless, it is fun to play all the 12 sega games that related to sonic in it. Although nowadays on vizzed, you can play
them without having to pay money for the mega collection disc, but back in 2006, I had no Internet. I did get Internet in like the summer of 2007. I am not sure, but Sonic Mega Collection shall live on with the Gems Collection game ft. Sonic CD.

skippercapt : So glad you started this thread, because Gamecube is my favorite system, and I just picked up a Black one at Goodwill for 10$! My favorite is Super Mario Sunshine, for amazing visuals, gameplay, and atmosphere, and a close second is Luigi's Mansion and Custom Robo.

I didn't really had much games on the Gamecube, but Super Smash Bros. Melee and The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker are probably my favorites.

pokemon colleseum was the best.
3d pokemon, 3rd person over the shoulder movement, they need another like that.
If they made another based on that gen or earlier id buy it.
If it wasnt nintendo exclusive...
Annoying.
2nd best smash bros melee, amasing.

I am going to have to go with Super Mario Sunshine also. That game is just to perfect! But Super Smash Brothers Melee was almost my favorite though. There were a lot of games for the GameCube and with me being a Nintendo fan, this was a very hard choice! If anything, I would like a lot of the games made for the GameCube equally!

There are a lot of good GameCube games, but I can narrow my favorties down to 3:

Smash Bros. Melee - A lot of fond memories were made while playing this game. It's more hectic than the original and Brawl, making for some fast-paced carnage

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - One of my favorite Zelda games, this one feels incredibly unique in that there is no Hyrule as the main setting, you navigate a gigantic ocean, the graphics and art direction are gorgeous, and the story is amazing.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door - Using the same formula as its predessor, TYD adds several twists to the mechanics, and introduces some of my favorite settings and characters from any game I've ever played.

There was Pokémon Coliseum, Super Smash Bros. Melee was great. I also loved Zelda Wind Waker. But if you ask me the greatest game on the Gamecube has to be Metroid Prime 2.  It just blew my mind a Gamecube game could be that good....

Oh my gosh, wow. GameCube brings back so many good memories from my childhood along with the Nintendo 64. I remember the first game I got for the GameCube was Sonic Adventure Battle 2. At least I think that's whats it called. Anyways, I was SO addicted to this game. My favorite feature wasn't even trying to beat the game, it was just raising the chaos I remember when my sister deleted my favorite chao, (i named him Cody and he was orange) I burst into tears and ran up to my room. I know, very childish. I just felt like I could never make a chao like him ever again, which is totally false, because he stunk anyways. He was my first chao though, and it kinda reminds me of Tamogatchi (I hope people still remember those little electronic pocket pets haha) So yeah, I raised some pretty boss chaos, and then when I evolved my chao to be in the heaven garden, then I started focusing on beating the game. I also invited my friends over when I was in fourth grade to challenge them in multi-player. I always played as shadow, because he was my favorite. They went into a lot of depth in his background story line, and I found him to be quite intriguing. But anyways, I've rambled enough, but like I said, GameCube brings back A LOT of memories.

I only played two Gamecube games, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Spongebob Creature From the Krusty Krab. I actually prefer CFTKK, even though it most likely wouldn't compare to SA2B. CTFKK was just great just to waste time, without having to worry about cheap deaths, time limits, or game overs. It's honestly the most relaxing game I have played.

The Nintendo GameCube was the first video game console I ever had and it was pretty much the most memorable part of my childhood...okay maybe not the MOST memorable but it's something I'll never forget. As for my favorite game...it's definitely Starfox Adventures. I loved that game so much...I invested so many hours into it trying to find all the tokens and stuff, and I loved going into space and traveling to other chunks of the planet such as Walled City and the Darkice Mines. I loved fighting people like Boss Galdon, Boss Drakor, and the final boss Andross. Although that General Scales fight was terrible. One swing of your staff and he dies. And you don't even kill him...he releases a fricken Krazoa Spirit and dies...that's the only part of the game I disliked...and that totem challenge...I hated that to the point where I almost broke the game. This was when I was like 10 or 11 so I was terrible at button mashing. I could probably write a review on this game if it was in the VGR lol. Anyways...that's my favorite game...so yeah. Runner ups would be Carmen Sandiego: The Secret of the Stolen Drums, Sonic Mega Collection (it's 7 games in 1), Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, and Backyard Football.

I haven't played many Gamecube games, but I have two tied for my absolute favorite.

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and Super Smash Bros Melee. Both of those games are near perfect, so I can't choose.

Ah, I love the Gamecube. I think that system is awesome~ I only have a few Gamecube games, so I'm not sure what else is out there, but I love Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. That would be my all time favorite Gamecube game, seeing as I played that one mostly. There is also two other games that come in second place though. I liked Luigi's Mansion and Super Smash Bros Melee (I believe it's called).

I bought the Gamecube when it came out specifically to get Smash Bros. Melee and it was easily one of the best games ever for it, but it wasn't my favorite. My favorite game released on Gamecube is Resident Evil Zero as it was my first time playing a Resident Evil game ever and I loved every second of it! And then of course Metroid Prime!
