There have been some instances where I hear regular music that might play over the radio and the tune feels reminiscent to me of music I've heard in video games. I'm wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this. Have you ever heard a radio song that reminds you of a VG song or the other way around where you play a video game and the music reminds you of a song you already know?

Here are a few of the ones I can recall:

Robo's Theme from Chrono Trigger sounds just like Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astney (yanno... the Rick Roll song...)

Rock Howard's Theme (Spread the Wings) from Garou: Mark of the Wolves has parts that sounds like Children by Robert Miles

Roll's Theme from Marvel vs. Capcom sounds similar to Tell It To My Heart by Taylor Dayne

The only one I know is "At Hell's Gate" from Doom 1 sounds like a sped up version of "No Remorse" by Metallica... but that's where Bobby Prince got the idea for the song.

Snake Eater from Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater is quite the homage to ANY possible James Bond theme.
