Yes, the title is pretty self explanatory. Halloween is coming up and I want to know what weird things you find in your trick or treat loot.

Those weird foreign candies with fruit in them always weirded me out when I was younger, but I got used to them as I got older, mainly throwing them out or trading them to those who liked them. I once got a dreidel from a Jewish family though. Not terribly weird, but funny enough, haha!

Also, there was once a guy giving out these fruit drinks that were in plastic barrels one year which always sticks out in my mind, haha. Usually, that guy would give out those plastic Kool Aid bottles, but I guess that year he was out or had a different flavor in his house.

There used to be some people on my block that would give out cute little Halloween pencils and pens or things, which is great because you can't really have enough of that kind of crap as a kid. Or like little yoyos or other cheap, dumb little party favors. I always thought they were fun because you're going through all your candy and suddenly you have treasure, hah.

I was walking up to a door that had no lights on which was a mistake on my part, and then I noticed a table with a cloth over it. A bowl was standing in the very middle and sitting inside there was Powerbars, yes Powerbars. The most nasty thing I could probably get on Harvest day that was exactly opposite from candy. They had the gaul  to put on a note next the bowl, just one please. Well I just cast down my head and walked away feeling defeated. I guarantee by the end of the night they didn't even get the bowl cleaned unless some health nut bandit decided to swipe all of the bars.

One time I was Trick-or-Treating, and at one of the houses, the guy asked if my sister and I wanted a cockroach or a spider. I said spider and my sister said  cockroach. Odd thing is, I don't remember finding anything spider-related in my bucket the next day.

My dad was once given toilet paper, and my mother was given a pamphlet about, "How to achieve 'Nirvana!'" Nirvana is a Buddhist term for enlightenment and becoming "at peace" with yourself. I personally never went trick or treating because my uncle was a dentist and my aunt was a nurse, and every year, even today, they come at October 1 and stay till November 10 to make sure we have no candy. THEY DIDN'T LET ME HAVE A CHILDHOOD!!!!!

It may not be Halloween any more, but I feel I should share this. I would get loads of candy, but never any gum. Why? Every time I get any type of gum, like my FAVORITE juicy fruit, I would figure out that it had been drugs in them! Of all things it had to be the juicy fruits! That is why I don't like them anymore. Did you find that out the hard way? or was the gum suspicious looking and then you figured it out?

and where do you live? There are always a couple crazy people who try and ruin halloween for the children, but that is over the top. I have heard of people putting razor blades in candy before though.

One of their friends had a load of juicy fruit. When they got back home, they started to destroy their candy. A few hours later, their friend collapsed on the ground. He almost overdosed! My b3rd oldest brother along with my other brother then took a wild guess that the juicy fruit had a drug in it. He was rushed to the hospital and we figured out they injected the gum with a lot of antibiotics with a needle! Ever since then, my brothers would tell me not to get the juicy fruit! they even look like drugs was put into also. There is like this x looking spot right on the side of the gum, and you can tell that the wrapper was sealed back together. I used to live in a moderately bad neighborhood. Not anymore though.
