Moving this to anime/cartoon section.

As for my answer, it'd have to be either Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, or Kiki's Delivery Service.

Without a doubt my favorite anime movie is the fourth Bleach movie. Bleach the Hell Verse. They made it tie in with the anime perfectly with Ichigo destroying the gates to Hell when he Ceroed Ulquiorra in his Hollow Bankai form.

I Want to say so many titles but the best one is "Ninja Scroll".
There are a million stories that are better.
There are a million characters that are better.
There are a million artists that are better.
But Ninja scroll is the best compilation of them all.
I have no idea why.
It just is.
Its one of those stories you wish you could stop watching when the "T.V." puts it on.
My channels don't "air" it but when I go to a buddies house its playing and I just sit and watch.
Any show that can "shut up" a person and get them hooked at any point of the story is a great "Flick" in my book.

"Ninja Scroll" hands down.

I pretty much almost always find myself loving any anime movie I watch, but ones that I truly found to be better than the others were the FMA:B movie Sacred Star of Milos, and the Cowboy Bebop Movie (Which I believe was named Knocking on Heavens Door?). Others I can't exactly remember off the top of my head at the moment, other than the original FMA movie Shambala, which I honestly didn't find to be too great. Other than that, others are generally recap movies and the such, Nya~.

Mine would probably have to be Spirited Away. I saw that movie when I was very young, and I loved it. It is so creative, and has a very good, yet sometimes confusing plot line. I cant remember how old I was when I saw it, but I know I was pretty young, because I cried a lot during that movie, especially when the girls parents turned into pigs because of the spell the witch cast on them. The characters are very well drawn, which also gives it a point (at least for me) I also enjoyed watching the Inu-Yasha movies, but I don't recall the names of the movies that I have stored up in my room at my house. In general, I would rather watch Anime movies then real life movies.

Hmm... if we're talking about movies made from anime series... probably the Haruhi movie. That was so good in how it tied the whole show together and was really well done.

If we're talking about anime movies that were just moves and not anime first... that's a little harder. I don't want too many of those.

Spirited Away is fo-sho my favorite Ghibli film, though I've liked every one I've seen, at least a little bit.  The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is excellent - I wasn't expecting them to have a reason for time travel that actually 'fit' with the spirit of the film as a whole.  For movies based on anime, I haven't seen them yet, but I'm holding out for the Berserk movies - the story's great and the CG's surprisingly not bad.

AKIRA: of course.. original cam dub, please. the re-dub was weak. different..

Vampire Hunter D: SAVAGE CLASSIC. Even the sequel was good, but it has nothing on the original.

Anything Miyazaki.

On a related note: I'm not sure how I feel about Ghost in the Shell... cool flick, but it's sooo slooowww...
