Hey there vizzed!
I thought I'd take a moment to talk a little about my background as a gamer.
I was raised on NES,SNES,Sega Genesis, and all the Gameboys.
I discovered my first MMO (RuneScape) at 11 years old back in 2001.  
Got Into Halo back in '04-05 or so.   It's all been downhill from there lol,
so what about yourselves?

My parents weren't keen on gaming systems, but we did have a Super NES for the longest time!  I'm talking about games like the Duck Hunting game, paper boy routes, and Addams Family games.

When that broke, my parents bought us an N64, and that was really the only large system we had.  My little sister and eventually my little brother got GBA's when they first came out, but they were so expensive that my parents only bought them for the younger two kids.  And the younger two kids rarely liked to share.  LOL

My husband though, is an XBox fanatic.  His original got stolen, but he recently bought an XBox Connect (if that's what it's called?  Or maybe it's Kinetic?)

Anywho, he also led me to MMORG's.  Is that what they're called  I've only played a few, but I do enjoy PC games the most.

I enjoy pc games the most as well.  Lol, i forgot to mention i've played every flash game on the web twice (should i mention flash games here?).   Kudos on your faith.  I think that's what I like most about this bored.    I've never seen so many christians on the internet, much less that share my gaming interest.

Oh, and I believe you mean the Xbox Kinect

Hehe aww, don't poke fun!  I can't help it that my parents didn't like video games and thus I'm less versed in them than most people!

hoaxer, Thanks for correcting me. XD  And thanks for the kudos.  I love that I can express my faith here without being attacked for it, but that's off topic.  

Oh, I did forget that we had the Sega Genesis!  My parents got them for long rides in the car, to keep us well behaved.  Don't you remember how clunky those things were?  I have fond memories of that system...

hm...  correct me if I'm wrong but I believe your speaking of the GameGear.   It was quite the large handheld device.

My first console was the NES. My mother gave it to me when I was two. It was hers when she was a teenager. When I was three or four my uncle gave me his old Game Boy. All I had for it was Link's Awakening until one day I found The Amazing Spider-Man lying in the middle of the road. I have since figured out (more than likely) why the game was in the middle of the road, but when I was that little I thought it was the most amazing thing ever.

Around grade primary (kindergarten) my father got a Nintendo 64. That was my first time playing 3D games and it was ever so exciting.

My first brand new console was the GameCube, which I got for Christmas in the first grade. Somewhere around the same time I also got a Game Boy Advance.

So all my life I've been a gamer. Nowadays I play pretty much anything. Classic and modern. I'd say I probably prefer the classics for the most part, but that's not to say that the games of today aren't excellent.
