I'm confused by this. I thought you only got boosted exp if you got a pokemon in a trade? this is on pokemon leaf green by the way.

I got none of my pokemon in trades, none of them are holding exp share (haven't even picked that up yet) but all of them are getting boosted exp.

What do you mean by "Boosted EXP"

Like they get more EXP than expected?
Or certain pokemon are getting EXP when they shouldnt because of being in battle?
Or maybe your pokemon gaining EXP without battleing or useing them at all?

I may know the answer if i can just figure out what you mean exactly XD

I know you said you have no trades... but just for the heck of it, compare the OT IDs for your Pokemon to your own trainer ID... see if they match. It's possible there's a glitch that occurred in your playthrough that caused all of your Pokemon to have a different trainer ID than yours, which basically makes the game think they were traded.

Yes, that's exactly why. Like I said, if the ID numbers don't match, the game thinks they're traded. It has no way to actually track what trades you did, so it just references the ID numbers. It's actually possible to trade and have the game NOT consider it a trade if by some freak chance you trade with someone who gets the same trainer ID number as you... it is just a number that gets randomly generated when you start the game and not necessarily unique.

I had looked up Pokerus and it told me about how the pokemon are and what happens and all that

Well i thought i'd go on my game and check out and see if my pokemon has pokerus in my PC (I heard you cant tell if a wild pokemon has pokerus and it can be contained for awhile in a PC or deleyed)

I had also heard that pokemon get this little dot in their stats saying if they have had pokerus

Turns out my pokemon had pokerus without me knowing so i could not take advantage of it, and apparently it was on the Female Combee i caught before i left the game

I thought i would share that with this being asking why your pokemon's EXP was boosted and future refrences to this thread

I also checked, only my party had the dot so i'm quite sad now
