I cant tell a huge difference between any quality unless its a big screen, though I haven't looked at much high quality, so its hard to tell.

Me, I can't tell the difference between them either. On YouTube videos I find both qualities to be the exact same. However, if you were you compare both formats side by side you would definitely be able to tell the difference between them both.

On my current monitor, I can't tell one from the other, except that 1080p makes my sad old computer run much more slowly.


However, if I get lucky and my memory usage happens to be lower than usual, neither quality will cause my system to lag, and then I can tell the difference in the sound quality.

The difference between 720p and 1080p I think it's that 720p is Standard Definition (SD) and  1080p is High Definition (HD), but that's me saying it, but I could be wrong though.

No I can't tell the difference between the pixel quality's 720 and 1080. But my Blu Ray player is 1080p and it has breath taking picture quality and resolution so I think 1080p is better than 720p but I couldn't tell them apart if you had them both side by side on television sets.
