So. I totally am ecstatic. (With a slight dampener, which I'm not happy about but...) So, I had to go back to my Mom's house for tampons, which is where my dog was staying. And I discovered that the dogs were not being taken care of, so in a split-second decision, I decided to bathe my dog and bring him with even though I was not supposed to. But using the excuse that my Mom was not taking proper care of him, I was able to talk my "landlord" into letting him stay with me so I don't have to worry about him not being taken care of anymore!

And I missed him, Oh so much. So I have my Shih-Tzu with me all the time now, which is awesome. I missed him so. <3 Happy Sqwee~

Well I'm glad that you decided to help your dog out when he was not being taken care of properly. I hate it when people abuse their animals (and I hate those animal abuse commercials because I get so sad that I get angry lol). I'm sure your mom had a reason for not taking care of your dog properly (I don't believe that she would abuse her daughter's own pets.)

Yeah, he was with my mom because my landlord wasn't allowing pets because we already had my boyfriend's cat, who had nowhere else to go. (Unlike my dog) So I went ahead and let my Mom keep my dog only to find out that he was being neglected. So I brought him in anyhow and explained the situation and the landlord allowed it. (Thankfully) It also helps that the landlord has a larger-than-average Chihuahua that needed company and a playmate. lol

As for the neglect - I don't know if it had a reason or if it was just the four people living there being lazy. But my mom pretty much gets stuck with the care of everything because my stepfather and two siblings are lazy as f***.
