Today, I just celebrated my 17th birthday. There was no school today due to the holiday so I was able to spend some quality time with daughter as did Kage Negra with her son. Parenthood is something to take one day at a time.

My 17th birthday was nothing special. My mom is like "Yeah, we're gonna move two days before your birthday" and I was all like -__-;

Don't get some parent's decisions like that... but at least your birthday sounded like it went quite well, so I'm happy for you~

Belated birthday wishes. I always loved when my birthday would fall on the weekend or other days off from school. Now that I'm in the work force, I actually request my birthday off as a Personal Day every year :p

Since I'm logged in, I'll answer for her on a few things. 

We're actually more towards the Hispanic side since we're half-Chilean (dad), and half-African (mom) with a few traces of Jamaican, Brazilian, and Pakistani from mom's side of the family. As far as having kids too soon, early parenthood (and excess height) runs in the family especially on mom's side. I'm 15 with a kid and we got a half-brother age 13 whom brought forth the next generation first. We are pretty much the same age as our parents had us. Our mom and dad had me and my true sisters at 14, 15, and 16 with me being the youngest and Azul being the oldest. Then mom barely made it to 18 for our half-bro with a different man, then 2 more with her current husband but she was well into adulthood by then. That's only just the tip of the iceberg in our family tree.

I was just stopping by for a Happy Belated birthday when I noticed the topic at hand - so happy belated birthday. I'm rather astonished at the children bit but I have nothing against it. I am curious to know that I, too, like Singelli, understood the thirteen year old with child bit too.

Please, don't think I'm judging you - it's just not something that I see occur too often so it surprises me quite a bit. Your family must be very fertile!
