Does anyone play at all?  I can't seem to find anyone that does and I'm beginning to wonder if it's just that dead of a sport. I absolutely love to play it, but not even my own school has a team.

My school actually had us play badminton for gym class. I'll admit that its not that fun as I prefer Tennis over Badminton (they are similar just with a different racket and ball.) Thou I would say that its a sport.

I played badminton at school during P.E lessons and found it was a really fun game that almost anyone could pick up. It's a really easy and simple sport to play. Although I would still play now I have left school I do not know of anyone else who does so I guess I'll have to stick to tennis!

I miss playing badminton, so I guess it's nice to see that other people know how to play it and have played it.  There doesn't seem to be anyone around here who plays it for fun .... or for sport either.   I think it's a great relaxing sport that lets you get your exercise without having that competitive edge to it  I mean, you can compete of course, but to me it seems like a game that is played more for fun.

I still have my rackets and my birdies, but alas... they just gather dust!

I enjoy paying badminton so much that I have learned how to play it both right and left handed
I have played the other racquet sports and rate badminton as the most fun to play with squash second, tennis third and table tennis last
But that's not to say I don't enjoy the others because I do, I just really like badminton

It's worth checking your local newspapers, websites and sports centres for badminton clubs, you might be surprised how many people actually do play badminton, sometimes I have found it difficult to book courts because of it's popularity
Also, most of the places I've worked have had badminton clubs so it's worth checking at work or college too
