There's no Vizzed rule against posting a birthday thread for yourself, don't worry about it. I think she just meant that it's more special to have a friend post the thread for you, and wish you happy birthday.

I couldn't get a full-time job at 18 because I wasn't of the majority age. The majority age is the age at which a state considers you an adult. It's supposed to be ___ Age or Graduation/GED, but being that I live in Alabama... A lot of s*** just isn't right for today's day and age.

Basically, the short of it is that I wasn't considered an adult by Alabama so places couldn't/wouldn't hire me on full time. (Curfew issues, I think.)
