I would have to say that my favorite RPG of all time would be Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64. This game broke the mold for me. I remember playing the orignal zelda and Mario games and thinking that this truly was cutting edge, but with the development of technology it was only a matter of time before all the right components were put together to form a game that could define a genre. The size, depth, and interactiveness of all the levels in the N64 Zelda simply was something I had never played or experienced before. The levels were huge and the story allowed for the player to spend countless hours on the story line while still enjoying some of the other tasks and adventures that game had to offer such as catching a fish or simply taking a swim in Lake Hylia. Although, after defeating the water temple a person might need time away from that area after the struggle that is the water temple. Furhermore, I like how certain decisions that you could make during the game would really effect your optionns for progressing the game. I think that the Wii's Zelda title really drives this point home.

I would say Phantasy Star IV and a few final fantasys. Jade Cacoon 2 is a good. Wild Arms, Star Ocean. There isn't really just one is what I'm getting at.

For me, any turn-based game is an RPG but if KH is RPG then there's no contest to who I pick. But I really can't think of Zelda as RPG, except maybe Link's Adventure.

Final Fantasy 6, even over the MegaMan Battle Network games. As much as I love those games... FF6 has my favorite video game villian of all time, Kefka.

Also, Dancing MAD, which is a song so awesome it could beat Chuck Norris.

Its hard to pick, since some are very different. The most memorable RPGs I can think of for me are Final Fantasy 1, Chrono Trigger, and Xenosaga/Gears games.

The Simpsons is arguably the greatest television show of all time. It's ability to satirize while at the same time being able to cater to the lowest common denominator is unmatched by any other.

A close second is Seinfeld. Seinfeld's premise of a "show about nothing" was genius. It shown a spotlight on life's little things without putting too much emphasis on things that actually matter. That's what set it apart.

Currently, there is only one show that comes close to matching the appeal of a Simpsons or Seinfeld. That being, 30 Rock. Comedy wise, it's sharp, quick, and witty.

The rest of comedy out there is laughable, and not in a good way. Shows like Entourage and Family Guy are dull, hackneyed, and ill thought out. Hopefully they are erased from the television landscape.

My favorite RPG? That's a toughie. The Final Fantasy series, the .hack// series (IMOQ and G.U.), and the Xenosaga series are all amazing (Xenogears was good too). I also like the Paper Mario games a lot. I can't decide on just one.

I've got two:

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (GBA) - This game is both my favorite Kingdom Hearts game ad my favorite handheld game. There's just so much to love: a creative mix of both real-time action with card-based gameplay that doesn't slow down or ruin the flow of the battles, a great story (even though it's pretty much just Kingdom Hearts all over again,) and BEAUTIFUL graphics and music!

Final Fantasy IX (PS1) - For some reason, this game seems to be regarded as the black sheep of the family. I disagree wholeheartedly. Of the three PlayStation FFs, this one by far is the best (I'm looking at you, FFVII!) The whole game is a wonderful return to form, with less focus on futuristic evil corperations or ethereal pan-dimensional sorceresses, and more classic fantasy mixed with a decidedly unique steampunky feel. The skill system is an interesting new way of powering up your characters, and the battle system is graciously kept as close to classic games as it should be. Don't even get me started on how great the story is. My post would be ten times longer than it is right now!
