I can't guarantee these tips will work for everyone but I know they're working for me. So let's get started....

Diet: Do you need to starve yourself? No! I've taught myself to eat more fruit and vegetables, this is a common known dietary fact. But it is true! It helps keep you more energized during the day and you don't end up pigging out and over-eating. Do you have to give up junk food? Not necessarily. It's all about portioning. If you eat it in moderation and don't over do it, it won't make you gain weight. Even eating carbs, you don't have to give up those foods you love in order to lose weight. It's about training your mind and body to eat in moderation. I'm sure you guys have heard this stuff before but it does actually work, you just need discipline.

Exercise: Do you need to over-exert yourself to get results? No! Any kind of physical activity is exercise. Taking out the garbage, cleaning the house, walking. These things can be used as a form of exercise. You don't need to go to the gym and spend hours pumping iron just to get results. And you don't need to vigorously exercise either. Just do what your body can handle, even just 30 minutes to an hour of exercise a few times a week can help you lose.

How do I know this works? Because since I've been doing this, I've lost 52 pounds. Am I at the weight I should be to be more healthy, not quite yet, but I'm definitely on my way there! If anyone else has any other tips that can help others, feel free to post them here or even just ask me anything you want to know. Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

I do agree.  Eating fruits and vegetables makes you feel so much more focused during the day.  Another strange thing I noticed is that having protein in the morning is a very effective way of feeling energized and being proficient at work.  I tried taking some advice to eat the larger meals earlier, and to eat less as the day progressed.  I think this helped as well, and I was very happy with the results. 

Congratulations on losing 52 pounds though!  That's absolutely incredible!  I was so proud of my ten.....I can't imagine losing 52!  Way to go!

Singelli : Yeah I try to eat as much protein as I can, because with some of my conditions I need as much energy as I can get you know. And thanks, I am so proud of myself. I still have some more to go but I feel so accomplished. Congratulations on losing 10. That's a great start.

Singelli : If I remember correctly it was about a year. So about a couple pounds a month. This is just a guess. And that's actually a really good way to lose weight, slowly and a few pounds at a time that way you keep the weight off.

Singelli : The best way to help someone who is just starting out is to get an motivational weightloss buddy. Even if it's someone online. That's what I did and once I got into the routine of doing it, I've kept it going.

Those are great tips.  I do tons of exercise.  I have a healthy diet( but I eat a lot).  I have a very high metabolism.  Shedding pounds for me is like a river flowing.
