Basically, you click on the Retro Game Room in the top left corner, search for the game you'd like to play with one of the many filtering and sorting options and just click on "PLAY GAME" below the game's info after you click on its title.
Just clicking the "PLAY GAME" button counts as 'buying' it and your Viz will automatically be reduced.
Once you bought it, you can access the games at any later point over the "Your Games" link at the top of the screen, under the board logo.

That's about all there is to it.
