I was wondering, does anyone else here have problems with back pain? The reason I'm asking, is the past like three days I've had really bad back pain, and I honestly don't even know what I did to cause it. Is there anything I can do to take care of the pain or get it to lessen?

Usually, to properly cure something, you have to at least have some idea of the cause. It's hard to fix a problem that's a mystery, yanno. If you knew what was causing it, you could do something to alleviate the cause of the pain.

Where exactly does it hurt? Upper or lower?

I've never really had pain that wasn't caused by me being too rough and injuring myself in some obvious way, personally. If my back hurts, it's usually because I fell on it >.>

I was thinking about saying something about that... but I didn't want to be rude and make an inquiry in that regard <.< the likelihood of that being the cause of mysterious back pain is somewhat dependent on the size. If you don't have much there, you don't really have anything to worry about. Your best bet is to make sure when you are sitting at a computer to have good posture. Sitting at a computer for long amounts of time slouched over or with bad posture can mostly definitely cause back pain. One of the best things you can do to cure it is simply do a lot of stretching.

legacyme3: Aww man, another curse for us ladies. LOL. Unfortunately for me, I'm not small chested, so that could maybe be one of the reasons, but this is a pretty recent thing, and I've always been big chested. So it may or may not be the cause.

I have a bad back but it is because of my massive school bag on my back that makes me think you are carrying a lot of weight on your back which might cause this.(also legacyme3 that is slightly immature we know we are in trouble when an adult is more immature than the younger of us)

I think every thinks I'm crazy, but I think I do have back problems.  If I can't have something STRAIGHT to rest my back against, it hurts.  For example, a really cushion-y couch absolutely kills my spine!

I have a new little trick that you can do/use when your back starts to hurt. Especially after being in a sitting position for awhile. My sister took me to WalMart and bought me a really comfortable back support pillow. Oh my goodness, what a difference it's made. I can sit on my computer now for as long as I want. No back pain. I honestly did not think this pillow would work that well. Now whenever I get to walking, it can still swell up or hurt but at least I found a good solution for sitting that works for me. And I got it for 16 bucks at Wal-Mart. Gotta love that place!
