All of the items increase your stats in some way. For now their basically just for fun but we sometimes have contests which involve stats and we have a text based battle arena where members can fight eachother based on the board's rules.

Randy is in the process of developing a real battle arena for the board though which the items and stats will be used for that eventually.

I've had a few idea's in the past. I mean, it'll be hard to balance it out between strategy and stats. I mean we of course want someone with high stats to be able to dominate over someone with low stats but if the people are close in stats we'll also want a way for strategy to determine the winner rather than just stats.

Also we'd want it to be definitely based on the stats and also somewhat based on the current battle arena rules I made up years ago.
