So I figure it's about time I make one of these threads telling people about myself. Maybe I'll find more to talk about here on this message board in doing so. Anyways, aside stuff you can find in my profile...

My favorite color is blue. My favorite fruit is banana. My favorite thing to eat in general is chocolate. My favorite animal is monkey. My favorite RPG element is water.

I'm a fairly active person who's always on the move. People describe me as "hyper" because I have trouble staying in one place without moving in some way. Even when I'm just sitting there, I'm told I move me feet around a lot and stuff and can't properly stand still (I don't even realize I'm doing anything x.x). While I'm not a fan of professional sports in the least, I do like playing sports as games. I enjoy playing baseball and swimming the most. I also like doing the things you'd group under "track and field". I consider myself to be a fast person... not only in running speed, but just my reflexes in general. I also tend to get called a fish a lot because of my swimming ability :p

I play a lot of video games for entertainment (no surprise if I'm here, huh?). My most enjoyed genre would probably be fighting games, particular King of Fighters. I also like a good number of JRPGs (most notably the Tales series) and the occasional platformer (Kirby and DKC are awesome). I own a PS3 (with PS2 parts), a PSP, a Wii, and a 3DS. In the past I've had a PS2, PS1, DSLite, GBC, SNES, NES, and Genesis. I am not a collector, so I only have about 40 games right now. I usually trade in games once I'm done with them unless I expect to replay them (I definitely hold onto all my multi-player games for this reason).

I also like to watch anime. I like to alternate between action and slice-of-life. Sometimes the formulas Japan uses start to get to me after a while and I need a break for something light-hearted. That's the purpose of slice-of-life... but if I ONLY watched that, I'd probably become quickly bored of it. As of this post, I have watched 63 different shows (a lot of those on TV, but the rest through DVDs). I am not a Japanese voice purist... maybe because I've gotten used to English VAs a lot through all the games I've played. I can enjoy an English dub just fine so long as it wasn't mishandled.

One thing I really enjoy is entertaining others. I have a variety of means of accomplishing this task... but one of the more common ones is by simply acting foolish. I've become very good at playing the part of the idiot, but also will surprising people at times by saying something profound or serious.

I have a fairly creative mind in that I always have ideas of stuff I wanna do. Actually doing it, on the other hand is another story. I like designing my own characters and braining up stories for them. Unfortunately, I can't draw, so it's difficult for me to share the concepts I visualize in my head for these characters.

Another thing I like to fiddle with is music. When I get a tune stuck in my head from some old video game I played to death, I often want to see if I can recreate that tune in my midi program. If I'm really happy with what I have, I sometimes take it a step further and synthesize it to instrument samples to remake the song in (hopefully) higher quality. (thread relevant)

That's all I can really think of to mention for the moment... hopefully I keep finding great stuff as I continue to explore this community.

Hey, welcome to Vizzed. I really loved how you presented your bio. I always end up making mine really boring or vague. I'm not as good with words as I used to be. Or maybe I'm just lazy, who knows. Haha. You seem like the kind of person I would be really close and good friends with. I really enjoy playing sports too. I LOVE playing basketball. I used to play baseball a lot when I was younger but I haven't done that in quite awhile. Anyway, I don't want to get off the topic of welcoming you. So welcome! LOL. I hope to talk to you more in the near future.

Yeah, I kinda delayed in making this thread. I should have when I first joined, but I wasn't sure what to even put. In the end, I decided to stop delaying and just post already :p

I just rambled whatever came off the top of my head and as much info about myself as I could think of at the moment. I'm not really sure yet where to look to talk to people here yet. There are so many forums at this site, that it's easy to get lost @.@

I've only even peaked in so few thus far and I've been here about a week. Maybe we will talk more later. What sections do you typically hang around?

I am usually posting in General, Your Forum, Cafe Corner, sometimes in Debate, Movies, Television or Web Splurge. I'm trying to post in other sections more. I'm usually one here at least once a day.

I don't really go to any of those forums... >.>

I just went to Your for this thread... and I maybe touched General a few times by going to New Posts and seeing something that caught my attention.

That's how I started out on posting on the forums. Just started with what grabbed my attention and worked my way up to posting more. Just take your time and get the feel of the site. I'm sure you'll be a regular poster in no time.
