anyway, my favorite at the moment is Miles Davis

David Mustaine from the metal band megadeth he has quite the talent with singing as the frontman I feel bad for james of metallica he let go some of the best talent there is with playing guitar and singing.

My favourite overall is John Frusciante, his albums are so varied and his Chili Peppers work is amazing. I love his voice, and guitar playing and he has a good bass technique and keyboard skilld. And he's a great chap aswell - he's very humble and also vegetarian which always helps .

I like Hawksley Workman. He's a Canadian artist that most of you probably have never heard of... but I really really like his music. It's sort of folksy, jazzy rock.... hard to explain because each album is different and each song could be classified several ways.... you'd all probably think it was old person music ... but I like it!

i have a couple, but freddie mercury, john lennon and paul mcartney are at a tie.

I like Beethoven, he rocks! If only he were still here.... But he made some very "you can't forget it" piano works.

my favorite is either kurt cobain or jimi hendrix

although i don't listen to much mainstream or secular bands now a days, these musicians inspired me to originally start getting into music and are probably my all time favs at what they do.

drummers: i'd have to Agree with jhop22 that neil peart of rush, is the man. a phenomenal lyricist as well as the master at his craft as a percussionist. although i'd have to throw in t.d. benton of "white collar sideshow" as 2nd place.

guitarists: i'd have to Agree with lunaroseangel here as well, dave mustaine is excellent. not only in his lyrics, and vocals, but OBVIOUSLY for his Rad speed metal leads! i also would have to list scott ian of anthrax because he's just an overall fun guy to watch play guitar. he makes playing guitar even more appealing by how much fun he has playing it.

Bassists: i'd have to go with Les Claypool of (so many bands that i won't list them ALL) primus. and yet another member of rush, geddy lee, as a close 2nd.

vocalists: there are really to many to choose from, but if i had to limit it to one i would have to pick rob halford of judas priest.

but if i were to pick one sound artist who overall impressed me with their talent i think i'd have to choose trent reznor.

My favorite musician overall, is Eminem. But Dean Martin does compete. It's hard for me to say an overall favorite, because I like so many artists and musicians from so many different genres, that I have at least 3 favorites from all 10 genres that I like. I hate country, but I love the old country.

My favorite musician is Dominique Persi. She's the lovely lady to the left in the clown make up. Accordion FTW!!
