No it's not, they have had events and everything so now every pokemon has been released... but if you have all the pokemon on your pokedex congratulations cause I haven't done that on any of my games yet... although I'm very close on Yellow. It's extremely difficult to get them all.

Yeah the 150 original Pokemon are the best but after playing Pokemon Diamond I've really developed an interest for a lot of the newer ones.

I started playing Pokemon Blue probably a year after it came out (was probably 13) and absolutely fell in love with the game. I got Pokemon Gold when that came out but than I backed away from Pokemon (mainly because of embarrassment for liking it at the age of 18) for many years and never got to experience Pokemon Saphire or Emerald but than I heard of Pokemon Diamond coming out and I was craving Pokemon by that time having gone that long without playing a Pokemon game and played that all the way through in no time. So now I'm 23 and still like Pokemon and I see no shame in liking it at this age, the game just gives me a feeling no other game can give me.

There's my history with Pokemon.

pokemon is becoming more acceptable for us older guys to play now since we are the ones that grew up with it and all.
plus it is easy to just play a quick game every now and then as well as get into a long drawn out game so thats always a good thing.
