I'm just bored, but I thought this could actually be cool to do.
I'd like to take up users in an army- for the purpose of gaming.
And I don't just mean on Vizzed, I mean EVERYTHING.
We do things like share info on games, strategies on games, cheat codes/hacks for games, anything.
We'll be connected as a Gamer Army
There's not really any special requirements to enlist, just say you want to, and possibly what you can offer a Gamer Army.
Ranks will be given based on the amount of stuff you can provide for me and other members of the Army.

Your idea is pretty much what vizzed is though... A community of gamers coming together to one place. Maybe you might get a better following if you just start a group of friends here on vizzed with which you can call your gamer army, since you can already share cheat codes/hacks and etc here on vizzed!

I dunno, its sorta like going to wal-mart and saying you wanted to start up a store that is a 1 stop shopping location lol.

Skillz: Tactician (Mainly SC2) resident of Minecraft, frequent TF2 player,  Hardcore Bro-toss, (My Life For Aiur!) I enjoy the retro games (Cave Story, Mario, Legend of Zelda) I wish I could hack XD and I'll try to join in whenever I can.

I would like to be a general- what do they do?

Pfffftttt! I'll definitely take the "hacker" position. That'd fit perfectly with my spotty internet connection.

BluemageKyle : I'm following up these ranks after the actual ranks of the U.S. Army.
There's four different ranks of general. Being up there simply means a few things:
You're more respected by the other troops.
You have more decision-making power, and I'm more likely to take advice or other things into consideration.
You can better fulfill your role, or manage a Squadron. (A small group of troops that is devoted to working on a single game/project)
I made Lazlo Falconi a Lieutenant General because he is an Admin for Vizzed, and I take that as a sign that he knows what he's doing when it comes to gaming.
Is there anything special you can offer the Army? I may be able to move you up to a Brigadier General.
However, if there isn't anything extra you can provide, I'd still be willing to move you up to the rank of Major.

zeldafreak1: Alrighty then, I'll fill you in as a Hacker. I'll get back to you about what else the group is doing as soon as we have a few more troops.

BluemageKyle : I'll tell you what. I'll raise you up to the rank of Colonel, the highest rank before Bg. General.
Maybe you'd like to try for a Role? The better you exert your role, the faster you will get promoted.
The available ones we have are below:
Recruiter (Refers other users to the Army)
Hacker (retrieves Cheats/Hacks for certain games)
Researcher (Suggests new games the Army should work on)
Tactician (Gives walthroughs/behind-the-scene info on games)
Supplier (Provides Viz/Money for investing into certain games)
Developer (Makes videos and other content related to a game)
Equipment Specialist (Provides actual games for other troops to test out)
New roles may be added, but that's something I'm still working on.

I'm interested, but before I join I'd like to know what the goal of this is? Do you have an amount of games you want to play as a team? Is this a team of game reveiwers? etc.

It's really everything you listed and more. Not only would we review games, and also play them, but we share with each other different info about games. Occasionally, we will actually share games, and send them to eachother to play through as.
It's a but of a perspective thing, but you ought to get it.
