I'm sorry to hear you lost your saved games. That sucks you were so far into the games.

I thought the uninstall prompt about deleting files made sense, but I suppose it could be made clearer. Basically its purpose is just to help clean unused file off your computer if your not going to use the plugin anymore.

I think it would be valuable to make some improvements to the saved games implementation, especially related to preventing loss of saved games. It would take a good bit of effort though. Maybe David has someone who can write up the PHP code to create backups and allow restoring.

Got a couple of issues, the first being with the FF7 NES remake. I've tried on multiple occasions to play the game, but whenever I try I get the following error:
"Failed to load game. This is often caused by a download error or another game running in a different window."
I tried selling the game and then trying it again, but I still get the same error message.

I thought it might be that the emulator isn't liking my browser, but I've tried a couple of other games (Kirby's Adventure and Dpad Hero), both of which are NES games (one original, one homebrew) and both work perfectly. At least when I'm playing them they work fine. I discovered that whenever I try closing the tab or hitting the 'Close' button at the bottom of the screen, Firefox crashes.

when i play a retro game i can't see the whole screen, the bottom and right side are cut off. so like in pokemon the words are cut off when you talk to someone and the menu is cut off when you open it.

For GBA Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku when the game loads up on plugin it says that "This program will not run on the hardware found." Is that my internet browser problem or game problem? I don't get this for any of the other games i play with the plugin so I think it safe to say the plugin isn't why I can't play cause the game loads up and then the game doesn't start but instead gives me a message box with what I stated above.

Super Smash Brothers

and... I believe that's it, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were more. What I'm getting is a blank white screen, with a black box running about half-way down the right side of the screen. When double-clicking in the box, it brings up control settings, otherwise, nothing happens. I've let games sit like this for a half an hour, and still no dice. The weirdest thing is, I've only encountered this problem on Windows 7. On our desktop (which has XP), at least 2 of the games mentioned here run fine... but I definitely want them working on my laptop .

All you have to do is save during the game and the next time you start the game your save file should be there. Make sure you hit the "Close" button at the bottom of the screen before you exit out of the game window (it won't save if you just exit out of the window), but if the game still isn't saving then I suggest switching internet browsers (Mozilla Firefox is the best for the RGR).

I saw some people say they have trouble loading a game. When it happens to me, I hear the audio, but there is nothing on the screen. If I hit the reset button, it will reload and work.


There may be some games like this, but I was playing the SEGA X-men game and you won't be able to beat the game. After you complete level 5 on that game, you are supposed to tap the reset button on your SEGA to advance to the next level. Since you can't do this, level 5 is as far as you can go. There is a level skip cheat for that game, but it doesn't seem that you are able to put it in, since player 2 controller is supposed to disabled.


I would suggest if anyone knows a game that will have this issue, to post it in the review section of the game. Just to save some people some surprise or frustration when they find out they won't be able to beat the game.
