I wanted to know if anyone else on this site has trouble with migraines? I'm a migraine sufferer. I've been to Neurologists and specialists and for whatever reason it seems like they can't do anything for it. So I was wondering if anyone has any remedies that might help me out? I'd appreciate any help I can get. Sometimes these migraines get too hard to bare.

A couple other things that help me are to try and avoid light as much as possible because that seems to to intensify it and getting a bit of food in me seems to help a bit.

Yeah, sometimes I have to lay down in a dark room, with absolutely no noise and use an ice pack on the back of my neck. It works, unless it's a complicated migraine, those are worse than regular ones, those are a pain to get rid of.

I take care of migraines by ignoring it.  I know that it is a dangerous thing to do but I hate taking medicine.

Unfortunately for me, I can't ignore it. I have a seizure disorder and complicated migraines, I could end up having a bad seizure or worse. So I do whatever I can to try to get rid of it.

I've deal with Migraines by first taking some Asperine to help with the headaches. Next I go and lying down somewhere (usually somewhere comfortable and soft). Then I just do some meditation to calm myself down and to try and take off some stress. I've turned off the TV, Sterio, Computer; pretty much anything that is going to make a lot of noice. I turn the lights off so that way I don't feel dizzy anymore. This usually works and I found that my mirgraine's or my symptoms go away or are not as bad.

I do!  I actually had one yesterday.  Some things to help me are:  Go in a dark room, take a nap, wear my glasses, take ibuprofen, and drink lots of water.   I also don't get on electronics, or anything with light because it really hurts my eyes.
