There is a Battle Arena in planning. Those items will be for it; myself personally? I haven't heard anything about it -not- happening. It just takes awhile to code that sort of thing. Either way - it's a ways off. But I do believe we will see it eventually.

The armory and weapons in the Item Shop like the Sword and Shield of Vizzed, knives & guns, Veneeval Mask etc are accessories for the "Battle Arena" an upcoming feature.

Items in the "Accessory Store" (in item shop) are basically beneficial accessories to play the games in the Retro Game Room for free. Purchasing the "V-Machine" will enable free and unlimited game play for all consoles .That's what most people aim for.
