Lately I have been pondering what cellphone I should get next. I was wondering of anyone could help me decide on what would be best? I have done some research and have an idea, but let me explain a few important points.

1. Must be available for AT&T's service.

2. I do not use apps much. I downloaded hundreds of apps, mostly games, from iTunes. However they hardly hold my interest, so I am reluctant to choose something like an iPhone. Still, there is a chance of a need for more practical apps, and I am sure that the Android Apps store will have what I want.

3. I have often heard that one of the things that irritate customers is iPhone's lack of Flash support. What advantages are there with a cellphone that has Flash support when compared to Apple's products?

I am currently leaning towards getting the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket. Your thoughts?

Really, anything from Samsung.

You should consider switching to Verizon though. Much better from my view.

The Samsung Galaxy S III is currently the best phone on the market. No, this is not opinion, it is fact. No phone comes close to price for features that the S III has right now. That's what I'm getting when my upgrade comes up next month. I'm telling you dude, this is the phone to get. On Sprint it's only $199, and I'm sure AT&T is competitive. I mean it has to be, since AT&T costs almost twice as much and has almost half the coverage of Sprint.

Yeah the Samsung cellphone should do it for because all my older brother sister have a phone that made by Samsung it work out great for them. 

Lazlo Falconi : I compared the Skyrocket to III before. The III does not have many advantages over the Skyrocket that would justify the price. The III's battery may have a higher capacity, but it does not have as long of a standby life as the Skyrocket. The only other advantages I can think of would be the camera's capabilities and the USB cable that comes with the phone. I know the upgraded camera does not mean much, but can you tell me how a USB connection will benefit me? If I go with the Skyrocket, I feel I would be saving $100 --which would be great for expandable memory.

Heh. I made some more comparisons today, and it looks like the Galaxy S III will be the better choice. I am hoping to make the upgrade as soon as I possibly can.

Wait... Do they really still make phones without USB capabilities? What is this, 1994? I couldn't imagine not having a USB attachment for my phone in some sort of fashion, even if it's a proprietary dongle like the iPhone connector.

I even have an SD card reader for my PC, and I still couldn't imagine having to use a phone without a USB cable, how in the world would you transfer photos, music and everything. Granted, I don't use my phone as a media player often, but come on, we all use our phones as cameras, and yeah, you can just uploaded to the cloud and then retrieve it on your PC, but really, how much time are you willing to spend on that sort of thing?

Well I have to say you got me to compare phones again and I am now hooked on trying to get the S III. The problem I am having at the moment is that I cannot seem get the $100 rebate without getting a new voice plan --or so it seems. Wish me luck for finding the best deal possible.

It sucks that you're on a family plan, because that kind of looses your only bargaining chip. You could threaten to leave the company if they don't give you the same deal as "new" customers, but they won't ever miss the $5 your family pays for your plan.

Lazlo Falconi : Well I was able to get all possible savings by purchasing the phone at Best Buy instead of online; no changes to the voice plan were made!
