Mario Kart, particularly Mario Kart Wii, is far superior to Mario Party because of the level of competitiveness that can be achieved. Mario Party is rather silly, and there is nothing wrong with that (it can be a lot of fun), but Mario Kart is far better, in my opinion.

This is a difficult choice for me because I really like both series. However, I prefer the Mario Kart series because I mostly enjoy all the games. On the other hand , there have been several bad Mario Party games. So Mario Kart is the winner, for me at least.
