I have to say that I'm a big fan of 6 and 7. I could play either of those anytime and I wouldn't miss anything else. I'm also a huge supporter of Final Fantasy Tactics.

While I used to say Six because of it's characters, I prefer Final Fantasy I now for some bizzare reason, maybe because It's funny XD I don't know, I like it's gameplay and ROCK HARD Difficulty.

My favorite Final Fantasy is Final Fantasy 1! It was the first one I ever played and also the first one that I beat.

I do consider myself a pretty hardcore gamer, so when I tell people I've never actually completed Final Fantasy 7 before they think I am crazy. I dunno I have played through most of FF7 but (don't kill me for saying this it's my opinion!) for some reason I would always get bored playing FF7.

I think I just don't have the patience anymore for any newer FF games because I've only completed Final Fantasy 1 and 2 and Mystic Quest. I actually completed one of the earlier Final Fantasies in 1 day on my first try, (The one that came after Final Fantasy Mystic Quest but before FF3, I think thats FF2 right?)

I actually started to miss some of the elements of the first Final Fantasy game in subsequent Final Fantasies, especially the ability to pick your team at the start of the game instead of just having plot characters joining your team and not really having any say or choice. That was one of my favorite parts of Final Fantasy 1 and is what I thought added the most replay value. You could make so many different team compositions and even challenge yourself with things like a team of 4 white mages.

I think I might actually do a game review later for FF1, since its the only one of the series I have completed more than once.
