For those who haven't tried out the new IE8 yet, I suggest giving it a test because it is better than FF3 in my opinion. FF3 crashes on me all the time, at least once or twice a day. IE8 not only runs smoother, it also doesn't crash because if a tab crashes, it doesn't cause the entire browser to crash, it simply just reloads that tab that crashed...awesome! It also has a few other nice features but like I said, get IE8 if you haven't already.

Hell yes! IE, the terrible browser, is finally not a load of crap. I tried it(because my bro uses IE) and i loved it.

IE uses ActiveX, it's something that is used for IE's amazing customization. It is, however, incredibly easy to hack any old components. IE8 comes with a pre-installed program that gets rid of every outdated AX component with a quickness.

I would go into detail, but I've said this too many times before lol. It is very good. I wonder what the 64-bit version of IE8 is like...*goes off to dream land*

Firefox without add-ons is NOT a good browser, it's when you add the add-ons that it gets good. If you don't need the customization then you might as well just say f*** it and use something else.

I have tried it, and in all honesty, FF3 is better.
As DM said, Vanilla FF3 is crap. Very bad.
But with all the add-ons, sure it's slow to load (Takes 3 more seconds than IE8) but in my opinion, it's worth it.

Firefox is good because of it's wide range of add-ons and customizable features. That's what makes it good.

I think it's a 64-bit issue. I'm using FF and it hasn't crashed on me. It's probably because it's not really meant for 64-bit computers. Unfortunately, you're gonna have to wait until FF 4.x for a 64-bit version of FF. Or so is rumored
