Well, you found my introduction. Or you were invited to it. Who cares, right? Welcome, regardless! Meet me - Desirae! My online alias is "Ktanaqui". You may or may not have seen me around. A quick search on Google would turn me up rather easy. If you know me, great - if not, that's okay too. I'm not exactly a celeb

Regardless, how about I introduce myself? My name is Desirae Arianna Gasaway! That brown critter in my arms? That's my purebred Shih-Tzu, Boch. I've had him since the day he was born - literally. My mother was a breeder, until she realized how overpopulated the species was and started rescuing instead. Boch was born to Ginger and Gurgie with several other brothers and sisters. The only other one from that litter that we kept was his sister, Jenna - a blue and silver. Boch is a brindle. He's a huge part of my life, but that totally gets off of subject, doesn't it?
Right, so. Me. At the time of me typing this, I'm 18 years old. I graduated from high school in May 2012. I may or may not edit this later - or just possibly add more! Still. So, let's see... what's to know about me? I graduated high school with a 3.01 GPA, Advanced Academics and college credits in English 101 and English 102. I was supposed to have credits for Biology 101 and 102, too, but I missed that exam. Oh well; in all honestly, I do not feel that I learned the coursework well enough anyhow. I do not have a job; that's half the reason this site is actually possible. (I have no life.)
My dream is to be a web designer and a vet. That's a long way off, of course. I seem to have a natural talent with animals and management. So we will see how well this works out.
How about interests? My interests include reading, writing, colouring, playing video games (Modern Warfare 3, anyone? Star Trek Online? Sims? Spore? Roller coaster Tycoon? Zoo Tycoon?), animals, life (Fascinating, isn't it?), computers, learning (Though do not send me back to school! I hated it because it was too slow...), Web Design, music (I basically listen to everything except Rap, Religious-based music, Pop, R&B...), Electronics (They fascinate me too), and too much more to list!
Okay, so... I felt like elaborating on my musical tastes. I do not listen to much rap, but I do listen to some - it has to have good meaning, to me. I do not listen to pop much either. I do not listen to R&B or religious music at all. I do listen to country, rock, some heavy metal, and everything in between. Bands and singers that I know and like? Twisted Sister, Disturbed, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Jo Dee Messina, Emerson Drive, Lonestar, Ozzy Osbourne, Breaking Benjamin, Insane Clown Posse, Avenged Sevenfold, Barenaked Ladies, Bowling for Soup, Brian Adams, Coheed & Cambria, Cindy Lauper, David Bowie, Nickelback... And tons of others. My favorite songs? Honestly... I can't pick! There are just too many good ones.
I don't make friends easily because I'm picky about the people that I want as friends; I don't like those who are fickle. Backstabbers? Out. Stupid people? You too - but I doubt you know who you are. Well, anyhow. There are a few really close people to me. And critters. There's my boyfriend, Benjamin Summers. Our anniversary is on February 28th. We've been together since 2009. There's my ex-boyfriend, who is my dearest closest friend, next to Ben. His name is Alexander Campbell. We only dated for roughly a year, and it was very unofficial because he was trapped outside of the United States because of his Dad's job. Now he is back in Indiana, close enough to a home state for him, attending college. I am rooting for him! A lot of people disapprove of our best friend status because of our previous dating status. But I believe it'll all work out in the end. Then there is my mother, who's been through hell with and for me. There's Ben's mother, too. She has helped me out a lot. We're still hoping that we win the lottery so we won't be poor any more. There's also my dog, Boch, as well as my stepfather, Gary, my father, Jason, my siblings, Kayla and Jared, Ben's siblings, Donnie, Michael, Pilo, and Ben's niece, Kyra. Then there is Ben's stepfather, Joe, and all the furry critters that have been in and through my life! Oddball, Anubis, Mr. Whiskers, Widget, Bear, Nicki, Jenna, Ozzy, Oreck, Kiki, Patches, Gurgie, Ginger, and the rest of you! If I missed anybody, I'm truly sorry - there are an awful lot of you. Well, I know I missed folks.
