Congratulations to the winners! The point cap must have been really annoying, especially considering that you can't even see your score within the game unless you lose a life or finish a level. I never did figure out how much points things were worth.

Since the scores are pretty much maxed out, I wonder if there will have to be a different game for the next August competition. Or maybe Thunder & Lightning could be the speed run game for next August to see who can beat all 30 levels the quickest.

jerryaberry : I honestly do not know about the cap. I started the game a couple nights ago, got a good grove going, but couldn't stay awake to continue. So I just left it on overnight and continued the next night. With student teaching, it is getting hard to do these things, so I just left it on a super long time. I was completely shocked to see score reset like that. I thought maybe the game glitched on me. But seeing that it happened to you to, there must be some weird cap or something. I don't have the motivation to figure it out though
