I like retro gaming more because retro games usually come with more cheat codes. The best part of the game is to get to the end and play it again with cheat codes.

I am a very big fan of both. Modern gaming will be something that will probably be thing that always takes up the most of my gaming time due to having friends with similar interests and doing multiplayer with them on a daily basis, but I don't believe I will ever abandon retro gaming due to nostalgia and just the amazing amount of fun those games can be whether single player or multiplayer.

There have been some great games with current gen systems but the classics are truly amazing. I play classics more than modern overall. There's tons of fantastic games out there that aren't current generation. There are so many great titles for Ps2, ps1, gamecube, super nintendo, nintendo 64..I could go on. I think modern gaming is great and is definitely worth playing but we should always come back to the classics.

I can't say that modern games are better overall, because a lot of them aren't, but with the advent of the indie game developer, and the gaming industry coming to its senses in general, It's a much harder decision for me that to just say what I feel in my heart. Because as much as I love those old games, I still love the modern first person shooter, the advances in strategy games and, although I would once tell you this didn't matter, video games today are just gorgeous, even on modest hardware.

I like retro games a lot more then modern games. It seems like most developers are ONLY thinking about the visuals and not the gameplay. Of course back when retro games were modern. Developers also tried to make them look good. They also thought of gameplay too. 

Another reason I like retro games is because they have charm that will never exist in a modern game. I do like modern games, but I definitely prefer retro games.

Every modern gamer that has come to my place. Always complained about graphics from the old games. I have them play for a while, and they started to enjoy classic games. That's fun they are.
